Our story

A restaurant in Pula's old town, since 1986.

Zlatna Vrata has been cooking for Pula and its visitors since 1986. The place is family-run, accessible, and always open for hungry guests — whether you're a regular on a lunch break or a tourist who just walked out of the Arena.

Our food is Mediterranean and Istrian, with a focus on fresh fish, seafood, classic meat dishes, pizza and family-friendly options. Portions are big, ingredients simple, and the kitchen moves fast — the way the old town cooks.

The terrace sits on a pedestrian street, two steps from the Arch of the Sergii, the Forum and the Castle. A good stop between sightseeing rounds or a long evening meal.
